John got up and paced one more time, not that there was any easy way out of here. The old well walls were mossy and damp even if, thankfully there wasn’t much water left.
And of course there was no mobile signal.
“Forty three,” said Sherlock.
John looked at him. “What?”
“You’ve paced the space 43 times. Find anything new?” Sherlock was perched on a rock, hands steepeled at his mouth. At least the cut on his forehead had stopped bleeding.
“No, Sherlock, I haven’t.” John sighed and leaned against the damp wall. The sun was setting and he wondered just how dark it would get in here.
Sherlock lapsed into silence for a few minutes before speaking again. “Tell me a secret, John.”
John blinked. “What?”
“We may as well pass the time.”
John ran a hand through his hair. “Uh, I don’t know. Why don’t you go first?”
Sherlock stood and walked over to him, crowding John against the stone. John swallowed. “Sherlock?”
“This stone above your head is loose. I may be able to climb.”
John let out a breath. “And maybe break your neck this time. Just wait, if there isn’t help by morning, then I’l let you.”
“Fine.” Sherlock tucked John under the Belstaff. “But there’s no reason for you to freeze.”

January: This was I think my most productive month, at least half of which was fueled by Sherlock Seattle. Ten fics this month of which I’m most pleased with Proposition (my first pegging!), What Makes you Beautiful (stupid frothy fun) and
April: This is where things are dropping off because I was out of work and writing to make money more then writing for fandom. But I still got out one,
Some Kind of Home is G rated Jack Harkness feels. Some more pwp and harkstiel in there too.
August: Two again.
Coming Home will have more added to it at some point, I don’t feel like it’s totally finished. I need to work on it again. Also the fic demanded that it be johncroft. I didn’t plan it that way.
Take Me Back to the Start, a feelsy s3 johnlock fic. Also some mystrade in there too and johnlock pwp.
December: Five, plus I’m sitting on one that I’ll probably post in the next day or so, so I’m going to call it 6. Mostly for the Harkstiel advent that I utterly failed at. And also
Well, that’s more than I thought I did. Not as much as some other years, but I really should stop feeling guilty for not writing more. 47 Fics in total is nothing to sneeze at, especially since I got in some longer ones. Now do I poke my muse and try to get to 50 before the first?
Also I’m presently sitting at 320 total fics. August 1 was my 2nd anniversary in the Sherlock fandom and
Woo, registered for spring classes and managed to get all the ones I needed. Only need literally two more classes to graduate O.o

Technically I should take another film class instead of that History class, but I Have to do one more semester anyway and at least that gives me a break from nonstop film. Also for some reason I feel weirdly apologetic about taking that history class, like that’s way too nerdy or something.
History is fun. I ended up with History of the American Frontier to 1830, Classical Chinese Civ, and History of Early Modern Warfare. I was one of 5 non-ROTC students in that class (out of 30) and one of 2 girls. I had the Frontier class and the Warfare class with the same professor, same semester, so I had MWF Warfare at 12:30 and MW Frontier at 2:30. I love history it’s so interesting. One of my fave books came out of the Frontier class, it’s about the history of the frontier exchange economy in the Louisiana area pre-French and Indian War.
History is awesome.
That sounds awesome. My associates degree major was history and my original bachelors was that as well before switching to film and media.
I took a women’s history class and race and gender in American film at the same time last year and the intersections were fascinating.
That’s pretty much all I have, maybe others can hop on the bandwagon.
