I imagine Sam read as many books as he could get his hands on with all the time he spent in the Impala. Even with the Winchester’s “adventures” – I’m willing to bet he let himself escape to another world where a similarly [ young and wayward boy] had to defend his own pursuits – magical and not. In other words, it’s late again and I should be asleep.
