there’s that single moment in the 5th gif where Bilbo is just “shit I fucked up I fUCKED UP” before Elrond gives that lITTLE GRIN I LOVE IT
BILBO LOOKS LIKE HE’S LEGITIMATELY ABOUT TO SHIT HIMSELF and then Elrond grins (THAT LITTLE GRIN IT DOES THINGS TO ME) and Bilbo still doesn’t look entirely certain that he actually got away with that.
the last gif alone is just “is he inviting me to stay here because he likes me or because he wants to murder me in my sleep, I just don’t know man”
the love between bilbo and the elves is one of my favourite things in the books and there are no words for how happy i was when i found this included in the extended edition.
