blogger!john has to have typoed “Sherlcock” at least once and been like
I tend to typo shetlock. I need a Shetland pony Sherlock AU apparently
What I love the most in literature and especially in fanfiction is the moment I think “I absolutely trust this author and would follow them anywhere”. In fanfiction especially because that’s how you bypass your comfort zone and all the prejudices you may have about the story premise and just dive in. And it’s glorious.
Few things means more to me as a fanfic author then a comment along the lines of ‘I don’t read this, but it’s you, so I did, and you know what, this is wonderful’

Working on the geeky fic and Sherlock is trying to watch Doctor Who with John. I couldn’t resist having them watch ‘Dinosaurs on Spaceship’:
“That actor looks like Lestrade.”
“No he doesn’t.”
“Why are there dinosaurs?”
“Sherlock, don’t try to apply logic to Doctor Who.”
Lol, I just got an awesome comment on AO3:
Opening up your profile was like hitting a smutty Sherlock goldmine! Score!
I feel like I’ve accomplished something in life. Win!

You want to know how important encouragement is?
This was my very first post of a fanfic (my Jack and River adventure story) and that link is Jazz’s reblog of it. It still makes me smile, even now.
I’ve only written as much as I have because of all of you reading and encouraging me. Ya’ll make me happy every time I log on and I couldn’t do this without you.
rosesama35 replied to your post “I just noticed I’ve posted 6 things on ao3 in the last two days. And…”
Whoa dude, that is really awesome! I ought to set weekly goals to keep myself writing too. Congrats and a full round of merit badges for you! 🙂
Hee, thank you. I had 2 i had to write for the gift exchange and 2 i wanted to write for today and when my muse is going, she’s going.
I just noticed I’ve posted 6 things on ao3 in the last two days. And I’m up to 125 works. Sheesh.
Also I feel like I should get a merit badge for writing over 1k a week on my phone with just my index finger. >.
Just as you grieve if a friend is killed, you should grieve if a fictional character is killed. You should care. If somebody dies and you just go get more popcorn, it’s a superficial experience isn’t it?
