No but imagine Team Torchwood has been out having Christmas drinks and Jack calls them all back to the hub and the place is literally dripping with mistletoe and Jack’s wearing a santa hat and just grinning as he stands understand the largest bunch.
And the team just sort of rolls their eyes, but then Tosh goes and stands under some and Gwen walks over to kiss her. And Owen’s staring at them, but doesn’t realize he’s also under some mistletoe, and Ianto leans in to kiss him and Jack’s smile starts to fall as they all end up kissing each other until finally Gwen calls him an idiot and drags him over to join the rest of them and it all ends in one giant kissy snuggly cuddle pile.
I’ll go with the most obvious fandom and say: Torchwood.
Well from Doctor Who, of course, heh.
Or really it’s all John Barrowman’s fault.
I finally watched Doctor Who, fell in love with Jack Harkness and wanted to see what happened to him next. Though I did watch all of new Doctor Who before I watched Torchwood so I was pretty thoroughly spoiled by the time I got around to it.
