I just wanted to say this:

I mostly came to tumblr via the Doctor Who fandom, and then Torchwood (It’s all Captain Jack’s fault).  Checking my tumblr history I watched Torchwood in April 2013, more or less (I still haven’t watched Miracle Day. I KNOW).

And, despite often feeling like, and saying, that I came to the Torchwood fandom five years too late, I want to say that I love this fandom and they’ve always made me feel welcome.

(also I wouldn’t be where I am now if not for awabubbles and jazzforthecaptain)

For everyone worried that the new Torchwood audio plays won’t have the whole cast, this is from the press release:

The new series of audio dramas will each focus on different members of the Torchwood team, exploring the impact that a mysterious event has on them. Starting off the range will be John Barrowman, who stars in The Conspiracy, a deadly thriller by David Llewellyn, which is released September 2015.

So to me that sounds like the original cast is coming back and they’re just keeping as much under wraps as they can. Besides, there’s 6 episodes in this series, one for each character and one final one with all of them. [x]

I mean for goddness sake they blacked out Jack’s last name on the synopsis.

It’s Audio. All five are involved. I believe the plan is to release 6 stories with each of them individually (plus I’m assuming a big finish) and then if all that goes well, more Torchwood stories with the whole gang.
