If they don’t want to bring Torchwood back or can’t get the original team for whatever reason, how about a Torchwood set at the turn of the 19th century?
Alice and Emily and Charles. And Jack Harkness, of course. He wouldn’t even have to be a regular character since he was more of a field agent back then anyway.
I’d watch the hell out of a show about turn of the century lesbians (maybe Emily is bi?) fighting aliens.
I’m looking forward to doing a lot more of these and I know that a lot of the fans ask me all the time ‘Bring Torchwood back’ and they say it to me like I’m the sole person who can do it… But you know what? It’s a team effort. And we’re bringing it back and showing the support for this and the things that Big Finish are doing with Torchwood, this will mean that there’s going to be more. I want want to do more.
John Barrowman on the new Torchwood audio dramas
On his radio show he said that if the audio dramas would be successful it might lead to bringing back Torchwood as a TV series. So please support the audio dramas if you like Torchwood and want it back on TV!
