One other comment about Children of Earth:

I really, really appreciated the female characters. I’m pretty sure Torchwood in general passes the Beschdel test and probably COE does with flying colors. You’ve got badasses, you’ve got mothers (who are also at least a little badass too), you’ve got the plucky office girl. I mean, how often do you see anything with at least four major female characters and more minor? And they actually have something to do in the plot besides stand there and look pretty?

So apparently I’m watching Torchwood in 2 hours. The DVR didn’t record the one at 8pm central, it’s recording the one at 11. Oh well, I’ll watch in then, no biggie.

Right, self, its 1AM, you do NOT need to stay up and watch the rest of Season 2 of Torchwood, especially when you just watched it on Monday.Besides, you just watched this:

That should give pleasant enough dreams…

Turned on BBCAmerica to check when the Torchwood stuff is on tomorrow… and it’s on “To the Last Man” and Jack and Ianto’s conversation and kiss :D. I guess I have good timing?

Also, they’re showing COE tomorrow too….starting at 11am. I might have to watch that too, but will I want to curl up and die?
