That being said if John Hart ever came back I would love to see him go through a redemption arc like Spike, but instead of following through with it he betrays everyone, just when Jack is starting to trust him again.
Like I see John as never truly being able to accept being either totally good or totally bad. And I’d love to see him start to try and be a little bit better in order to get back into Jack’s good graces. And then he’s called “a hero” by some people and he feels insecure about it, and eventually hates it. So much so he does something kind of terrible just to prove to himself that he isn’t.
Can we have this and an evil!Ianto that’s a supervillan?
