Oh definitely there’s things I’ve read because of the author. And I’ve had more then one comment like “Jack/Cas? Well…This really makes me so happy for you. This is the best thing. We should all trust some authors with this gut feeling that they are going to do a great job. Trust is cool.

Few things means more to me as a fanfic author then a comment along the lines of ‘I don’t read this, but it’s you, so I…I just love this trust you feel and you’re like “a tentacle werewolf AU ? sure I’ll give it a try”
