So Lin Manuel Miranda both went and taught at my school so my English teacher both taught and worked with him, and he was telling us in class that Lin was the sweetest person and that he deserves his success, and when the English teachers were grading the entrance exams to my school he couldn’t grade them because he was a substitute so he gave all the English teachers back rubs, (I how to hunter college campus schools) and I find that to be one of my favorite stories

BAHAHAHAHA that’s true, I did come by and give shoulder massages to the Hunter English department. I’d forgotten, but apparently my shoulder massages are UNF*CKINGFORGETTABLE.
I find it interesting to watch @linmanuel speak in interviews and things because we’re about the same age (he’s a year younger then me), but we’re both pretty steeped in Internet culture and on top of current stuff with ‘the youth’ (like tumblr here), so he’ll throw memes and slang and stuff into conversation sometimes without even thinking about it and I do the same thing. And somehow it doesn’t sound like a parent trying too hard to be ‘cool’.
