Do you ever think about how John and Sherlock’s first time will probably be in John’s bedroom upstairs? They’re saving it for something special, I think.

I have a sudden desire for John’s room to be an awkward Sherlock Shrine like Helga Pataki’s closet.

With all their press clippings, photos of them together from press conferences and things, the ashtray from Buckingham Palace, and the Death Frisbee.

Sherlock’s like, At least I have the subtlety to keep all my weird obsessive documents of your existance in a file under my bed that I only showed Molly that ONE TIME

Headcanon: Mrs. Turner’s married ones are Sherlock and John from the future. The atomic bombing on WWIII made London inhabitable. Mycroft, of course, was able to get our gay babies to safety before the bomb hit. When the men were left sadly pining for their lost home and landlady, Mycroft let them in on the extremely classified information of time travel so they could return to London. So as to not be too suspicious, when they return to their past, they move in next door to their beloved flat.

UM THAT’S AMAZING ??? imagine future John and Sherlock wanting to kick some sense into their current selves and get them together, but they also can’t be seen by them, so they plan all these elaborate rom com hijinks but all their plans always somehow backfire

Just imagine like a year or two into their relationship, John and Sherlock come stumbling in the front door, high on adrenaline and giggling, and John presses Sherlock back into the wall, kissing him breathlessly through their laughter and eventually pulling away and saying “You’re going to marry me,” and Sherlock quirking an eyebrow, all cocky, and saying “Oh really? Who says?” And John just grinning and stepping back some and gesturing to the door, saying “The man at the door” and there’s a knock and Sherlock just stares at him for a second before he opens it and there’s Angelo with a huge grin and a small ring box held out in his hand, and he says “John texted me, said you’d be needing this.”

kinklock:

There is 100% a subtext to John’s bedroom in 221B – we have not been show this room yet, and the times it is discussed or referenced are very suggestive. The first time it’s mentioned is when Mrs Hudson asks if they’ll be needing two bedrooms (asking whether they’re together). The only other time reference is made to John’s room is when Mrs Hudson calls up the stairs, “Boys, you’ve got another one!” after a client faints in the entry way. Easy to look over, but why would both John and Sherlock be upstairs in John’s room together …. ? Very suggestive.

Sherlock also completely associates John with 221B – how happily Sherlock smiles when Mycroft says “Back to Baker Street” after he’s just been tortured, his shocked expression when Mycroft says John is no longer at 221B – Baker Street and John are one and the same to him. When Sherlock is stroking the wallpaper in his mind palace trying to come back to life (the last image that he sees before coming back to life in fact being 221B’s door), that’s about John. And in this way, you can view John’s bedroom as the highest level of 221B that is still to be ‘unlocked’. We’re definitely going to see John’s bedroom eventually and it’ll likely coincide with something else ~

Just imagine pilot verse. Doing the same things but together. John waking up a sleepy sherlock with mischievous tickly kisses to the inside of his thigh. Sherlock yelps and chuckles and they wrestle a bit before Sherlock pins John down and kisses him good morning. Sherlock picking John up from work. Both of them at Regent’s park not doing anything in particular, maybe even on their phones but being together, holding hands with their little fingers. (1/2)

(2/2) John and Sherlock brushing past each other at home. John being able to reach out and ruffle Sherlock’s hair whenever the fancy strikes him. Sherlock observing John’s face as he sleeps, tracing little lines on his face and smiling as John smiles unconsciously. John and Sherlock in love, with nothing standing between them.

it is a truth universally acknowledged that in pilot verse it was john and sherlock’s wedding at the same time as the wedding in tsot <3

THIS GIVES ME LIFE.

Are you both trying to kill me? This is everything. Everything.

What happens when you view ‘muted’ Sherlock.

I had two friends over last night, well they are are still here asleep in the guest bedroom, and the plan was to watch the Sherlock pilot as they had never seen it. They are fans of the show but not in the fandom, so have no knowledge of our metas/thoughts on the series. As I started to play the pilot we realised we didn’t have sound, [turns out the SCART lead was out] but by the time we fixed it, on screen John and Sherlock had met in the computer lab. One friend, Brendan, made the comment;

‘Oh if I didn’t know better, I would be settling in for a gay porn movie, look at these two boys.’

So we decided to leave the sound/subtitles off and just watch to see how the pilot played to ‘virgin’ observers. It became fun and needless to say we ended staying up all night and watched the entire series on mute. These are our impressions based on just the visuals and forgetting everything we know about the series.
