Headcanon for when Jack works with Dean and Sam on a case. He calls them “boys”, at first to belittle them because he knows it’ll piss them off (especially Dean). ”So boys,” “Well, boys”, “Keep up boys!”
And in turn Dean has a plethora of names for Jack playing off of his role as Captain. “Captain Douchebag”, “Captain Suspenders”, “Friggin’ Captain Planet”.
Eventually the pet names become endearing. Jack may even slip once in awhile and say “my boys”.

I think my favourite fan theory is that the reason Yana hears the drums and Simm!Master is so badly affected by them is because before the destruction of Gallifrey, there was always a sort of telepathic white noise present to block them out. After the Time War, that presence is gone— hence, drums.
(Personally I think a lot of fanwank could’ve been avoided if the drumbeat had simply been placed in Jacobi!Master’s head after his body had been re-loomed during the War, which makes more sense imo. Alas, that is not the hand canon dealt us…)
I tend to see Roberts batshittery as a result of being, you know, a snake made of goo. If a human brain can’t house a Time Lord consciousness, I think goosnake!Master can be forgiven for getting his own brain scrambled.
(But that opens up another question; while the drums are a telepathic feature, don’t they have to have a physical fixture? How does that make sense considering the Master’s habit of bodysnatching?)

Jack didn’t say they were her favorites and she’d just failed a math test. “Did the shipment not go through?”
“No, I made sure they got there.” Ianto held up a file. “You’ve sent things to her before. And other places. London…”
Jack shook his head. “Don’t worry about it.”
Ianto knew his ‘drop it’ tone of voice. He started to walk away, but Jack reached for the file. Ianto handed it over. Not like he didn’t have other copies.
Here’s my new headcanon. Donna has timelord DNA. I think when she dies, she’ll regenerate instead. She’s never really forgotten. The memories are still there. Some stuff could be leaking through. She’s still the DoctorDonna. So there’s plenty of reason that she could adapt to the Timelord DNA inside her. Slowly, over time. Now I know she only has one heart, so that could put a damper on the regen but if she can adapt to the timelord knowledge, I’m sure she could find a way around that.
How many hearts does River have?
