I still annoys me that the two missing years of Jack’s memory were never mentioned again.
Per the summary for the first one, the newest run of Ninth Doctor comics is *hopefully* going to be finally explaining that ( In Part 1 of ‘DOCTORMANIA’, the Doctor, Rose and Captain Jack uncover a mysterious video. Tracking down its source could help Jack uncover why his mind was wiped source) but yeah, I’m still annoyed (like I am about a lot of the gaps in what seems like it could be a great backstory if they cared enough)

We’re a quarter of the way through the year wait for more Doctor Who. Probably through the most barren and news-less patch of the year by now. There’s still Class and the Christmas special and many new audios, comics, and books to come. I can endure this. Probably.
Actually, no, I’m already freaking out over lack of content/new things to talk about. There’s no way I’d have made it through the wilderness years.
I went through the wilderness years and very distinctly remember being parked on the sofa with my parents when the Doctor Who movie aired in 1996.
Twas a long time sustained by classic who reruns. Except it wasn’t classic who then, it was just Dr Who.
