It suddenly occurred to me today that one of my all time favorite books is about an essentially immortal man who goes through time as something of a rogue, occasional con artist and also he loved and lost a mortal woman. He also time travels at least once. Oh and he ends the book in a polyamorous relationship.

and suddenly there’s an explosion of light in the sky
and john barrowman just descends gracefully and gives you the biggest kiss in the universe
