imagine bucky recovering his memories and one day, after a mission, they’re all in the stark tower having breakfast and all the avengers are around kind of minding their own business, tony is chatting with bruce about some science stuff, pepper is on the phone and clint is silently drinking his coffee while natasha reads the paper, thor is trying to find the channel where they were showing a documentary about kittens two minutes ago and steve is eating his eggs with sam and bucky is just there duckfacing his way through breakfast when he suddenly looks up at steve and asks “did you ever suck my dick? cos i remember my dick being sucked by you” and the next thing they hear is clint’s mug hitting the floor

Notice this post. Laugh at this post. THIS POST IS AWESOME. Partly because I did NOT expect where it ended up from where it started. (Neither did Clint, apparently.)

“duckfacing his way through breakfast”

Oh, my baby.

I demand this in Avengers 3.

Forgotten Fanfic Friday

reclusiveq:

So the idea is to pick a fic you wrote that didn’t get as much exposure as you would have liked, and to use the tag #forgotten fanfic friday. If you don’t write fanfic, but you read it, and you’ve read one that you would have liked to see get more exposure, go ahead and rec one.

I haven’t written a whole bunch, but here’s one of mine that I had a lot of fun writing, but didn’t seem to get much of a response.

Fall Down

This is a 5+1 fic, based on my headcanon that Bucky could actually be spectacularly clumsy more than most people expected (which was actually based off of Sebastian’s commentaries of walking into a fridge and falling off a car).

Bucky…was still Bucky?

I found it very interesting when in the “but I knew him” scene where The Winter Soldier is being “repaired”,imagePierce tells Bucky:

“Your work has been a gift to mankind. You shaped the century. And I need you to do it one more time. Society is at a tipping point between order and chaos. Tomorrow morning we’re gonna give it a push. But if you don’t do your part, I can’t do mine. And HYDRA can’t give the world the freedom it deserves.”

Pierce tells this to a confused and broken Bucky, as if coaxing him with the idea of Hydra giving the world the “freedom it deserves” as a means to get him to snap out of his slump and back to The Winter Soldier. When that doesn’t work, he gets wiped.Bucky’s been brainwashed into The Winter Soldier for almost a century yet Pierce tells him this…Why tell him this?

Maybe…for all these years, the brainwashing wasn’t just about being the perfect weapon but tricking him thinking what he was doing was right thing?James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes…the man who willing sacrificed himself for his best friend and his country…imageCould it be, this whole time…imagehe was so unflinching in his role as the Winter Soldier simply because he thought he was being the hero?photo f_zpsf0e377f8.gifMaybe the tears in his eyes before being wiped…aren’t only just for the confusion for his flashes of memory brought about by seeing Steve for the first time in seventy years…imagebut the realization that by chance HE wasn’t actually the hero…imageHe even had his own star…image

You people need to stop with the insightful ideas. *crying again*
