All these teenage fans bitching about Capaldi “because he’s old" can just light themselves on fire. Shallow fucks.

Exactly.

The more I read people’s comments, the more I realize how utterly stupid and shallow a good majority of the fandom is. Seriously. Trust in the showrunners, give Capaldi a chance, and wait until you’ve actually seen him in the role before whining about the choice. He’ll be fantastic.

Right. I’m sure he’ll make an excellent Doctor, and anyway, the Doctor has appeared older several times already, so what’s the big fucking deal if he’s a little older again?

My only problem with him is that I associate him so strongly as Frobisher and I’m going to have a hard time getting past that. But ultimately, that’s about me and not him. I’m trying to look at it from a positive angle though. It just strengthens my head canon more that COE (and therefore Miracle Day) took place in an alternate universe and that our Ianto is still alive.

Unless Frobisher was the Doctor but the Timelord part of him was locked away in a fob watch which is why the Doctor never showed up to save the earth and then he regenerated after trying to commit suicide. Fan fiction writers, start your engines!
