After the Watson’s domestic, John and Sherlock discover that Mary is a former associate of their arch enemy, James Moriarty. They devise a plan to begin on Christmas day in order to control the situation, as well as finally own up to their feelings toward each other. (x)
I like how this isn’t even described as an AU. Because no one will ever convince me that this is not exactly what happened between the shooting and Christmas.
