lil kid Sherlock thinking the phrase “mess with me” refers to scattering legos, frog dissection, unraveling the loo roll and making literal, recreational messes with someone. Mummy says “Mycroft is just trying to mess with you, honey” so he leaves a beach pail full of sand in his bed.

i’ve been thinking more about this and i like “mess” a lot for sherlocks first word. he loves messes.

This is the cutest thing I’ve read in a good long while.
