There’s a lot about the discourse surrounding climate change in Canada that’s absolutely bone-dead stupid, but one idea that badly needs to be beheaded and have a stake driven through its heart is that climate change would actually be good for Canada as a nation because it would mean that more of the country could sustain large populations.

maybe if it was phrased in terms of refugees from Florida crossing the great lakes on those blasted swamp boats preceded by a swarm of gators the true horror of the situation would start to become apparent.
