are you ever writing a thing and you compose a line that is such a killer, be it perfectly angsty or feelsy or dirty or what have you, and you have the sudden urge to stop typing and lie down on the floor because that’s it, you’re done, you can rest now, you did it
So, this episode starts slow and a little bit boring, but all this with the intention of showing the monotony of the routine life that Watson has without his Holmes. Just have a look at that sad face:
later we have the moment where Holmes runs into Watson (clearly he was following him…) and of course, he can’t stop himself from touching him, even if it’s not in the most gentlest ways… but we just have to wait a little to see a proper caress ha.
so, when the unveiling scene is about to happen we are already screaming with anticipation (unless you haven’t noted who the old librarian is, or haven’t read the story) and it’s brilliant: the way Holmes reaches out his hands to embrace Watson in his arms… ah, it’s too much.
and then THIS! seriously!?
then, after the apology and a lot of pain in the heart, comes one of the touching and sweetest moments:
Lovely isn’t it? So, i’m gonna stop here because I could keep on going with this episode, it has too much, way too much.
