OK but have you guys ever got the bright idea to look at videos under the “dog” tag?? It’s like an endless supply of silly dog videos haha

omg

Hahaha, omg yay! Best of all, this is not just a dog playing the recorder: it’s a German shepherd playing the open line of the German national anthem, with help from his German owner. This is just immensely pleasing.

B99 is the literal BEST for that. Everyone takes guff for being themselves, but not for being gay, black, Latina, fuckboy, whatever. It’s beautiful.

yeah, i think that’s part of why I find it so easy to watch. And even the “incompetent” characters still do their job. It feels like a real office in a lot of ways. Plus everyone is just a delight to watch.

I started watching Brooklyn 99 yesterday, still only a few episodes in, but a random thing I noticed was that the Captain had colored binders behind him arranged like a gay pride flag.

I also love the fact that he’s gay, and that’s part of what fuels him and makes him who he is, but it’s not the focus and nobody in the department seems to care.
