I feel like Greg Lestrade is probably one of those really good bosses. Like, he’s patient, he listens, even if he doesn’t agree (arresting Sherlock). Other people respect his opinion if he goes to bat for someone (the hiker case). Even after everything that happened he still regularly meets up with Anderson to check on him, and we’ve seen he’ll drop everything if one of his people needs him. (Sherlock in HLV)
Overheard at the cinema tonight: “Hawkeye is basically the Bernie Sanders of the Avengers; he’s not the loudest or most showy but you know, deep down in your heart, that he’s probably the best.”
I rewatched The Empty Hearse this afternoon…. it’s still a really hard episode for me to watch, just due to second hand embarrassment. I do love what we see of Mycroft and Greg through. And the Holmes brothers stuff. And of course the little things. Like oscillation on the pavement means a love affair…
