Keep going, work through the pain, it may seem like a joyless miserable exercise, but that’s because it is! Until you get the breakthrough moment and everything’s alright again.

Apparently my muse woke up today:

I finally finished and posted the foursome fic I’ve been kicking at for a couple weeks.

I wrote and posted a short little mystrade pwp fluff fic

And I’ve got half a fluffy/smutty johnlock fic done that i might get finished today, or at least in the near future if things keep up like this.

I am so very, very grateful to all of  you readers. And to all of you that put up with me even though my output’s gone from like 15+ fics a month to like, 2 or 3. I feel bad about not writing more, but I’m still here and I’ve not stopped, nor do I have any plans to do so.

Before Sherlock was a detective, he went to school, he had to learn about crime and forensics.

Before John was a doctor, he had to go to medical school.

Before the doctor could fly the TARDIS, he had to learn how.

Before Harry Potter was a great wizard, he had to learn all the spells.

Before Hermione learned all her great knowledge, that saved her and her friends lives so many times, she had to read about it all.

Before Merlin was a great sorcerer, he had to learn to control and advance his powers.

Before Arthur was a knight, he had to train and learn how to fight.

All these amazing characters most likely didn’t just become amazing from the very second they were born. They had to learn, they had to go to school, had to study and read.

One day you’ll be amazing too. Just like all of them. If you do your homework, study, go to school, one day it will all pay off.

One day it’ll be your turn.

Go study.
