This is the official “Johnlock Roulette” post. Search that tag and you’ll pull up all the previous discussions about this idea, but this is what it boils down to:
Promote your fics in need of more love by putting “Johnlock Roulette” in the tags of FIVE of your COMPLETE fics on AO3. No WIPs. Johnlock must be the leading OTP. Any rating, any word length, any date.
I’ve been trying to tag writers, but keep forgetting people, so PLEASE pass this on to authors, and readers, who’d be interested in participating.
Yes, you could search Sherlock Holmes/John Watson & Complete, or pull up the most recent Johnlock fics, or search by a gazillion different tags, but this is meant to pull in writers and readers who like the idea of finding and promoting hidden gems by current authors amongst the 41,000 Johnlock fics on AO3.
We’ve all read the classics, and we love them to death, but there’s a whole new wave of excellent authors out there, and if you don’t advocate for yourself, who will?

I don’t actively seek them out, but i don’t totally hate it either. But thank you and I’m glad you love them so much! I’ve been having fun doing them. I’m thinking I might do Shark Attack 3. Because Barrowman.
