“I’m wandering around the rabbit hole of the Foo Fighters on youtube….”
1994 was an incredible year for music, it’s true.
For me personally the best albums of that year include:
- Green Day – Dookie
- Nine Inch Nails – The Downward Spiral
- Weezer – Weezer (Blue Album)
- Pearl Jam – Vitalogy
- Nirvana – Unplugged
- Beastie Boys – Ill Communication
- Soundgarden – Superunknown
- Hole – Live Through This
- Live – Throwing Copper
- Bush – Sixteen Stone
- Offspring – Smash
- TLC – Crazy Sexy Cool
- Hootie and the Blowfish – Cracked Rear View
I mean, that’s a hella lot of REALLY good albums. And I probably missed some.

I’m wandering around the rabbit hole of the Foo Fighters on youtube. This is my music. I was 16 in 1995 and as far as I’m concerned 1994 was THE best year for albums.
Showing my age I know. Don’t care.
Also I lived outside of Seattle for most of the 90s. So hell yes I listened to all of this. 107.7 The End was the rock station. And they were independent, so everything from Jewel to Nirvana. Old stuff, new stuff, they didn’t care.
