I feel like reblogging this is my way of making the world a better place today.

I just wanted to say this:
I mostly came to tumblr via the Doctor Who fandom, and then Torchwood (It’s all Captain Jack’s fault). Checking my tumblr history I watched Torchwood in April 2013, more or less (I still haven’t watched Miracle Day. I KNOW).
And, despite often feeling like, and saying, that I came to the Torchwood fandom five years too late, I want to say that I love this fandom and they’ve always made me feel welcome.
god i just imagine steve texting sam throughout the entirety of aou, trying to convince him to join the avengers
“i don’t know if you’ve heard but we actually all get great dental/health plans through SI”
“ultron can fly…………. you can fly………… interesting”
“didn’t jump off any tall things all day since ur not here to catch me :////”
“sam if u join the avengers i can stare at you lovingly we can see each other everyday”
“thor says all avengers are welcome to use the bifrost to travel, didn’t you say you liked space that one time? huh. weird coincidence.”
“how do you feel about spandex?”
“wHOA!!!1!! just saw some WILD birds! lots of them!! just a lot of birds. so many. i’d send pics but my phone’s broken anyway haha too bad you’re not here, it’s weird how many birds the avengers run into like just unbelievable haha sam pls i miss u”
either way, i made my dad tell him, nd apparently it came out like “my kid thinks u look like a dorito” so that’s chris’ first fucking impression of me.
and now, since age of ultron is in theaters, i can share this beautiful response i got from chris with you all
but yes, because he was told abt his dorito status on set of the avengers, the rest of the actors heard and found it fucking amazing and so now he’s the dorito to them (mostly robert) as well as the rest of us.
ur welcome and im sorry
p.s. fun fact totally working on a movie w/ chris this summer and so it should b rly gr8 if i introduce myself as ‘that kid who made all ur coworkers call u a dorito’
I know it can be a nightmare to dig through our tags and see all those asks and not the guides. So here is a handy-dandy list of all our “official” posts (plus a list of relevant asks at the end).
Sometimes when I go hundreds pages deep into people’s Tumblr archives, I find really funny posts and I weigh the pros and cons of liking/reblogging them.
Pros: I’ll have access to them later because they’re fucking hilarious
Cons: They might think I’m creepy. Despite the fact that it’s public and on the Internet, it is not socially acceptable to let anyone know the extent that you creeped their archives.
I hereby extend blanket permission for anyone to creep on my archive, and to like and reblog posts from it if they want to. It’s really quite flattering.
