Brave! Strong! Inspiring! Keep going!

Thank you!
As I’m working on getting my stuff out here and step out onto this scary adventure of working for myself, I find myself this morning pulling up Heinlein’s Rules:
1. You must write.
2. You must finish what you start.
3. You must refrain from rewriting except to editorial order.
4. You must put it on the market.
5. You must keep it on the market until sold.
In my case, since I’m self-publishing, rule 5 (or possibly 6) is more like. “Continue to build your audience via social media”. I’m worried, but I still think I’d be crazy not to try.
if you ever feel like you are stuck with whatever choices you make when you’re young, please remember that:
- van Gogh didn’t start painting until his 20′s
- Alan Rickman got his first movie role at age 46
- kentucky fried chicken was launched when colonel sanders was 65
- Charles Darwin was going to be a Preacher
- Mick Jagger studied accounting and finance.
- J. K Rowling was 32 when Harry Potter and the philosopher’s Stone was published
Actually Alan Rickman was 42 in his first cinematic movie role (he was in a few TV movies and series before that), and had already been in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves by the time he was 45.
But the point still stands. Lots of people do not achieve greatness or find the thing they were born to do until later in life. Don’t compare yourself to teen pop stars and 20-something actors. You are not done at 21.
