Loki protecting Jane all the moments
im still wondering why he protected her so much???
while it doesn’t make up for everything that he has done in the past, I think it shows that he hasn’t completely forgotten how to care. He’s a little shit and I would never argue otherwise, but people are rarely so black and white. He has a few moments where he acts instinctively. And maybe, just maybe, he wasn’t doing this for Thor, or Jane.
Maybe he was doing this for Frigga. He couldn’t admit he was responsible. He blamed everyone else. But it is possible that deep down, he felt guilty. And when he saw Jane laying there, about to get hurt, he thought of her – of Frigga, and acted the way she would have done.
No, this doesn’t change what he’d done. But at the same time, you can see throughout this movie that he hasn’t completely allowed his heart to harden – for his mother’s sake.
