Whose going to be Lady Eboshi?

Is Irene Adler too obvious? Unless you’d rather go with Mary…

I was thinking Irene, but thought that was too obvious, too. Also, I have not seen enough Mary to make an informed judgment.

Irene could do the Lady Eboshi look, but she is a profoundly selfish character while everything Eboshi does is to help people who everyone else in society spits upon (whores, lepers, etc). I would say Mary is the more appropriate of the two, but neither os perfect.

This is hard, because the only BBC character who is ruthless, clever, anthropocentric, and has a soft spot for the lowest members of society, who sees their potential instead of ignoring them, is… Sherlock. But we’ve already cast him as San soo…. ???

What about Lestrade?
