Few things means more to me as a fanfic author then a comment along the lines of ‘I don’t read this, but it’s you, so I…I just love this trust you feel and you’re like “a tentacle werewolf AU ? sure I’ll give it a try”
Oh definitely there’s things I’ve read because of the author. And I’ve had more then one comment like “Jack/Cas? Well okay it’s you….and now I ship it.” 🙂
What I love the most in literature and especially in fanfiction is the moment I think “I absolutely trust this author and would follow them anywhere”. In fanfiction especially because that’s how you bypass your comfort zone and all the prejudices you may have about the story premise and just dive in. And it’s glorious.

So we did a career swap week a while ago (the Winchesters as companions, companions as hunters, the Doctor as an angel, etc) but this one is BIGGER!!
Instead of just switching careers within SuperWhoLock, you can ALSO expand it into other fandoms! The SuperWhoLock gang as a Starfleet crew, or a Middle Earth fellowship, or Hogwarts students, or Hunger Games tributes, or Toa, or superheroes, or LITERALLY WHATEVER CRAZY CROSSOVER AU YOU WANT!
You can use the versions of the characters that appear in the comic or just play in the general SWLverse, it’s up to you. And if you don’t dig the theme you can always send in more random askbox fics or do something based on the comic, believe me, I don’t mind! So:
- Write fics (askbox length or full) make gifs, draw things, and generally do what you do.
- Submit your awesome thing here or post it to your own blog by Friday with #superwholockthecomic as one of the first five tags.
- Get your work featured on the blog on Friday and get a teaser for the comic in your inbox as a reward! (the ones for the most recent week haven’t been sent yet but they will I promise!)
Make art, have fun, and be fab! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I see you driving ‘round town with the girl I love and I’m like that’s cool, I guess she made her choice, and I gotta respect that. There’s probably a lot more going on in her life than I was aware of, which is actually a pretty good indication that our relationship was not in a healthy place to begin with. I wish you both the best of luck in making things work, and I hope we can all stay friends over this.
