But it was Sherlock that talked him down. Of course John would have done the actual doctoring, but this time, Sherlock did save the life.

hmm, well dijnn poison their victims, right? (been a while since I’ve seen the episode). I think he might wake up inside the dream at first, but eventually he’d wake up outside it. Probably?
