#I needed this #Thorin and Bilbo cuddling in Bilbo’s bathtub #And Thorin is slightly too big for the bathtub because it’s made for hobbits #But Thorin doesn’t mind because he gets to cuddle with Bilbo and everything is nice #OH! And Jack and Ianto as well #Jack keeps trying to give Ianto a shampoo mohawk #And Ianto looks really pissed off at his ridiculous Captain but secretly he enjoys the attention #And then there’s John and Sherlock #Relaxing against opposite ends of the tub #Sherlock’s feet keep prodding John’s chest to get John’s attention #And eventually John just throws rubber ducks at Sherlock #Sherlock bought the ducks for an experiment #But then he grew fond of them and likes them in the bathtub #Though truthfully he likes them less when they are being pelted at him by a John who just wants to relax after a long case #I HAVE OTP FLUFFY FEELS OKAY

See, awabubbles, I’m doing this TWICE You can do it once. Ahem.

  1. I only finished catching up on new Who in like, April, thanks to my Awesome Roommate. Who is also the one that got me to start watching Supernatural.
  2. Um, thanks to tumblr I have a tendency to start shipping things before I even watch the show. Hence falling for Janto before ever watching Torchwood, and  now I’m getting into Destiel despite only being on season 2.
  3. I have an lj account I started a couple of months ago with some badly written smut. If you really want to read it, ask, but it’s not very good. (why am I admitting this?)
  4. I did Nanowrimo for several years, but haven’t in about five, though I still think about it, and it’s part of my writing DNA.
  5. I was the co-ML for Nanowrimo St Louis for a couple of years.
  6. I remember seeing Halley’s Comet in 1986.
  7. I wrote my first story when I was 5 or 6, but unfortunately lost everything I wrote before I graduated high school when I left home. Pretty sure it got thrown away accidentally.
  8. My brother is 3 years younger then me and a lawyer. This may be another reason I identify with Dean; I tend to feel like my little brother is the smart/successful one.
  9. Up until they moved to Hawaii, my mom had a spider plant that I grew from a seed in preschool. She had that thing more then twenty years.
  10. I married my husband 2 months after we met. That was fifteen years ago.

Well that’s just plain BS. If you’re good at something you should be allowed to do it, plain and simple. I’m amazed that Navy protocols can be so closed off when the majority of Navy folks I’ve met are NOT that way.

Well I went in in 1997, when I finished high school. It’s probably eased up since then. They were only just allowing females onto ships a year or two before then.

DUDE I have a friend who is a Senior Chief in the Navy now and served a couple times on the Enterprise!

i only ended up doing two years, and the only ship I was on was the Radford. I was a CIWS tech, because if I was going to be in the navy I wanted to shoot things. They wouldn’t let me be a Tomahawk tech because I was a girl and it’s an offensive weapon.
