But the thing about Jack Harkness isn’t that he’s just constantly randy and finds everyone and everything hot. That’s John Hart. The thing about Jack is that he genuinely sees beauty in everyone. And that’s just incredible. He has this absolutely infinite capacity for love, and a rare gift for looking past everyone to the very core of a person (or alien). And I suppose that’s one of the many, many reasons why he’s one of my biggest heroes.
