If you\u2019re learning, besides disney movies, I\u2019d recommend Extra en Espa\u00f1ol<\/a>. It\u2019s on youtube and made for learners, so they talk slow and it\u2019s easy to follow. It is Spanish Spanish, not Latin American Spanish, but most of it\u2019s the same. Also it\u2019s basic sitcom plot #3 boy likes girl, girl doesn\u2019t like boy, but roommate likes boy. And then they throw a visiting American boy in the mix that doesn\u2019t speak good Spanish\u2026<\/p>\n

Or you can try watching this and just giggle.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hulu has a Latino section as well, but most of that doesn\u2019t have subtitles. Mexican Sesame Street is good too, but they took that off Hulu and what\u2019s on youtube doesn\u2019t have subtitles.<\/p>\n

Also on youtube there are a lot of spanish covers of popular english songs, if you\u2019re into pop music. Here<\/a> is a link to some stuff I\u2019ve saved, yes, there is doctor who and Torchwood in Spanish (but the Torchwood stuff they speak really fast fyi)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yeah I find it useful to watch stuff I already know, that way I don\u2019t have to pay attention to plot and try to follow the words.<\/p>\n

But yes, I think a lot, if not most, of recent DVDS would at the very least have Spanish subtitles.<\/p>\n

Oh another good one is the Coffee Break Spanish podcast.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yep, definitely. But I just checked my other DVDs and nope, not one (exept for Supernatural) has Spanish subtitles. (But to be fair, I do not own many DVDs.)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I don\u2019t either, which is why i look online. I\u2019m using duolingo and memrise a lot as well. And a bit of mindsnacks.<\/p>\n

Oh and as far reading goes, if you have Kindle unlimited there are a bunch<\/i>\u00a0of low level Spanish books<\/a> that you can read for free, otherwise they\u2019re 99 cents.<\/p>\n
