If misconduct also came into play, it would be more complicated, but still worth pursuing.

I’m screaming
They booted too many sailors and marines and military enlistment is still low, so they’re begging queer dischargees to swallow their pride and return.

Nice
💅💅💅

Actually they aren’t asking them to reenlist (unless they want to) since most people with a DADT discharge probably aren’t eligible age wise to reenlist even with a discharge upgrade. The purpose of this is to get them eligible for VA benefits ranging from health care to education to cash. And to make them employable if their command gave them a DADT under other than honorable conditions. This started while I was still working at VA, because hundreds of thousands of vets deserve benefits they can’t get without a general or honorable discharge.

US Navy: Please Appeal Your DADT Discharge – Joe.My.God. karnythia: note-a-bear: poltlfreakshow: From the Navy Times: Navy Department officials are urging the thousands of sailors and Marines forced out of the military because of their sexuality in previous decades to come forward and appeal their discharge — in a step to restore benefits and right …

Continue reading “US Navy: Please Appeal Your DADT Discharge – Joe.My.God.”

[1
11942,10757,1505,11943
