The newest place I\u2019ve learned about is Norilsk, Russia, and it\u2019s just amazing.<\/p>\n<p>I know the Daily Mail is like, not a\u00a0\u201cgood source\u201d on things but it\u2019s honestly got one of the few articles I\u2019ve found about Norilsk that isn\u2019t like,\u00a0\u201cUgh welcome to the most polluted, awful place on Earth\u201d. The article has a lot of really beautiful photos. It actually shows the citizens and talks about life there, so if you want to read that article, it\u2019s right here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/travel\/travel_news\/article-3416963\/Think-s-cold-Spare-thought-residents-Norilsk-northernmost-city-world-endure-temperatures-55-C-two-months-24-7-darkness-year.html\" target=\"_blank\">Life in the freezer: Inside the northernmost city on Earth<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you want to see some footage, the documentary <i>Frozen Planet<\/i> (which is amazing, you should watch it regardless) has an episode about humans living in extremely cold conditions and they mention Norilsk.
