It moves towards brighter light if it needs, or hides in the shade to keep cool. When in the light, it rotates to make sure the plant gets plenty of illumination. It even likes to play with humans.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and apparently, it gets antsy when it\u2019s thirsty.<\/p>\n<p>The robot is actually an art project called\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/forum.vincross.com\/t\/remaking-sharing-human-technology-with-plants-with-hexa\/596\" target=\"_blank\">Sharing Human Technology with Plants<\/a>\u201d by a roboticist named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/sun-tianqi\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sun Tianqi<\/a>. It\u2019s made from a modified version of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vincross.com\/hexa\" target=\"_blank\">Vincross HEXA<\/a> robot, and in his own words, its purpose is \u201cto explore the relationship between living beings and robots.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t care if it\u2019s silly.
