\u00a0I adore tony being one of peter\u2019s emergency contacts at school but what I love even better is the school staffs reaction to may putting him as one<\/p>\n

I mean they would just be like \u201ci\u2019m sorry you wanna put who<\/i> as what<\/i> now?!?!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tony\u2019s sitting in his lab working on fixing DUM-E\u2019s claw, because somehow, <\/i>the bot managed to break off one of it\u2019s digits while Tony wasn\u2019t looking. He didn\u2019t even asked FRIDAY how it happened, just told her that if DUM-E tried to do whatever it was again, to let him know.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a sudden vibrating next to him, and he spares a glance to see that it\u2019s his phone with a new text message. He sets down his current tool and checks his phone to see if it\u2019s Peter or Pepper, because if not then it can wait.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not either of them.<\/p>\n

But this person certainly can NOT wait.<\/p>\n

He quickly opens the text.<\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie: <\/b>Hey, can you do me a favor?<\/i><\/p>\n

Me: <\/b>Of course, is everything okay?<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie: <\/b>Yes, everything\u2019s fine.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie:<\/b> Do you remember how we agreed to have you down as Peter\u2019s second emergency contact at the school?<\/i><\/p>\n

Me: <\/b>Yes<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie: <\/b>Well, there\u2019s a problem.<\/i><\/p>\n

Me: <\/b>Whose ass do I need to kick<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie: <\/b>Tony.<\/i><\/p>\n

Me: <\/b>Sorry, what\u2019s the problem<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie: <\/b>The school doesn\u2019t believe that Peter actually knows you, they even gave Peter detention because they thought he was trying to\u00a0\u201ctake his internship lie too far\u201d. I didn\u2019t even know that nobody believed him.<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie: <\/b>And when I went down there to try and straighten it out, they didn\u2019t believe me either, and told me to stop encouraging Peter.<\/i><\/p>\n

Tony felt white hot anger flash through his veins. Not only were these people punishing Peter for telling the truth, but they were straight up insulting the kid\u2019s aunt.<\/p>\n

Oh hell no.<\/p>\n

Me:<\/b> So what you\u2019re saying is everything is not okay and that I do need to kick some ass<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie:<\/b> I\u2019m asking you to please go to the school tomorrow and correct the problem. It\u2019s the beginning of the school year and Peter is already in trouble. I would go with you but I have to be at work at 6 am.<\/i><\/p>\n

Me:<\/b> No problem, I\u2019ll see to it that everything gets sorted out.<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie:<\/b> Thank you, Tony.<\/i><\/p>\n

Me:<\/b> No problemo<\/i><\/p>\n

\u2014-<\/i><\/p>\n

The next day Tony walked into the office of Midtown Tech as 11:30 am sharp. He didn\u2019t call ahead for a meeting. He wanted to catch everyone off guard. Off their game.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s exactly what he did.<\/p>\n

Walking in the office, he spots a woman behind a desk slash counter looking thing. She\u2019s probably in her late 30\u2032s to early 40\u2032s and gives off a very soccer mom-ish vibe.<\/p>\n

\u201cExcuse me Ms-\u201d Tony looks down to the name tag on her desk,\u00a0\u201cRhodes? Hi.\u201d He flashes his fake paparazzi smile at the woman, and when she looks up at him its like her brain short circuits, because she\u2019s silent for a good 7 seconds.<\/p>\n

Tony counted.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, h-hi, sir, uh, M-Mr. Stark.\u201d She stands, brushing out her skirt then trying\u00a0 (and failing) to discreetly fix her hair,\u00a0\u201cH-How may I help you?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to speak to the principle. I don\u2019t have an appointment. I hope that\u2019s not a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh! I\u2019m sure it won\u2019t be a problem at all! Just a moment!\u201d And the woman who Tony has already forgotten the name of scurries to the back of the office and disappears into a hallway.<\/p>\n

While he waits, Tony stands there looking around at the bland looking office and shudders.<\/p>\n

He would drop dead before having to repeat school.<\/p>\n

Then a voice from behind him pulls him out of his thoughts,\u00a0\u201cMr. Stark?\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony whips around to see Peter standing in the doorway,\u00a0\u201cHey kiddo, shouldn\u2019t you be in class?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShouldn\u2019t you be at the compound?\u201d<\/p>\n

He waves a hand dismissively,\u00a0\u201cI should be a lot of places. But you,\u201d <\/i>He points a finger at the teenager, \u201cShould be in class.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cActually I was headed to lunch, but Ned saw you through the office windows while we were walking.\u201d At the mention of his best friend, Peter jerked his head to the side, and Tony then notices the kid\u2019s friend outside the office looking like he was going to explode with excitement.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight. Well. I\u2019m just here to sort something out, don\u2019t worry about it ki-\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Stark?\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony then turns to see what must be the school\u2019s principle,\u00a0\u201cYes, hello. Principle Morita is it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony walks forwards and extends a hand to shake the other man\u2019s when he notices Morita looking behind him. But before he can ask, Morita speaks up,\u00a0\u201cWas this student bothering you? I apologize. He should be at lunch right now and,\u201d Morita pointedly looks at Peter, making him curl in on himself,\u00a0\u201cnot <\/i>looking for more trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony has to steel himself to hold back the remark he has for this man.<\/p>\n

Instead he just says,\u00a0\u201cActually, Peter is the reason I\u2019m here.\u201d<\/p>\n

At this, Morita stumbles on his words, and finally utters a,\u00a0\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPeter, come here please.\u201d Tony reaches out an arm and Peter did as he was told, and when he got into Tony\u2019s reach, Tony pulled him close with his arm around Peter\u2019s shoulders,\u00a0\u201cPeter\u2019s aunt notified me yesterday that there is a slight problem with you believing that a) he is my intern and b) I am his second emergency contact. She also told me that such problems led to disciplinary action, which I have to say, I\u2019m not exactly happy about. Considering the shortcomings here are on your side.\u201d<\/p>\n

Morita sputtered a moment before, \u201cOh o-of course Mr. Stark. I apologize for the inconvenience, and for you having to make a trip down here just for this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t mind having to make trips for my kid.\u201d Tony narrowed his eyes at the man in front of him.<\/p>\n

He looks between Tony and Peter, \u201cOf course. Well I will see to it that the detentions are resolved and will not go on his personal record, and I will make sure you are entered as his contact.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony nodded,\u00a0\u201cGreat, I\u2019m glad that\u2019s settled.\u201d He turned to Peter,\u00a0\u201cAlright, drama\u2019s over. Go back to lunch with Ted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peter rolled his eyes,\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s Ned, dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony ruffled Peter\u2019s hair and gave him a gentle push towards the door,\u00a0\u201cWhatever, I\u2019ll see you this weekend. Nat found a new recipe she wants to try with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, see ya!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBye, squirt.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two parted ways and left through their own doors, leaving a confused and dumbfounded Principle Morita standing in the middle of the office.<\/p>\n

What the shit just happened?<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie: <\/b>Thank you<\/i><\/p>\n

Me:<\/b> It\u2019s no problem, really. Happy to do it<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie:<\/b> Could have made a little less of a scene<\/i><\/p>\n

Me:<\/b> You know that\u2019s not my style<\/i><\/p>\n

Aunt Hottie:<\/b> Right, but how are you gonna get out of this one<\/i><\/p>\n
