Just her and her sign and supersized tea from McDonalds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I\u2019ll say it again. MOSTLY WOMEN.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Why does their being mostly women matter?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Because, statistically speaking, 64% of lawyers in the United States are men, meaning that the majority of the demographic showing up should reflect this. <br \/>It is also interesting to note that only 27% of American born lawyers are female- that means that a lot of these women are likely immigrants or foreign born.<br \/>We have a majority of women showing up in a field where they are a minority; women who dropped everything to help defend human rights and the country. <br \/>There\u2019s no cis-male equivalency to pregnancy, but if you fail to see the importance and stength of a woman who might feasibly go into labour at any second still standing up for what is right and good whilst the majority of politicians are cowering, then I can\u2019t help you.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img src=\"https:\/\/66.media.tumblr.com\/df97c2ba25c875b6021b85bb116b9fba\/tumblr_inline_okv4bhAmWU1rict0a_540.png\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/qz.com\/900416\/most-immigration-lawyers-are-women-and-they-are-helping-stranded-immigrants-and-refugees-at-us-airports\/\" target=\"_blank\"><\/p>\n<p>Why most of the lawyers you see battling Trump\u2019s immigration order are women<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI have been working non-stop for three<br \/>\ndays and I have not made a penny,\u201d [said a female lawyer who had been at a Texas airport and asked not to be quoted by name].
