kids, when you\u2019re choosing your college schedule, you\u2019ll hear a voice saying \u201cjust take the 8AM class. it won\u2019t be that bad. you\u2019ve done it for this long\u201d that\u2019s the devil talking<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Heed this wisdom.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I keep on seeing this post. As a college grad and a\u00a0\u201cmorning person\u201d here\u2019s my two cents.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t take 8ams! Don\u2019t even take 9ams if you can help it. Always start your class going day at 10am or later. You can get up at 8am to eat breakfast and study\/work on classwork if you like BUT DON\u2019T SCHEDULE \u201cI HAVE TO BE SOMEWHERE AND FUNCTIONAL\u201d EARLY.<\/p>\n

If you are going to be full-time, also don\u2019t schedule night classes. Classes that start after 6pm are not fun either and leaving class to pitch black darkness will mess with you in a very different way.<\/p>\n

As soon as you can, don\u2019t take classes on Fridays. It boosts your morale to only have required classes 4 days a week, trust me. If Monday is easier to do this with then that works too.<\/p>\n

If you work during the school year, don\u2019t schedule more than a 4 hour shift on the same day you have class unless you want to be dead inside.<\/p>\n

Random final note: Don\u2019t forget to eat, shower, hydrate, sleep, and socialize. If you cannot breathe between class, work, and homework\/studying you are over doing your schedule.
