{"id":280106,"date":"2018-10-22T01:01:11","date_gmt":"2018-10-22T01:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.merindab.com\/private\/2018\/10\/22\/why-rosa-is-so-good\/"},"modified":"2018-10-22T01:01:11","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T01:01:11","slug":"why-rosa-is-so-good","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.merindab.com\/private\/2018\/10\/22\/why-rosa-is-so-good\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/khaelis.tumblr.com\/post\/179286212762\/why-rosa-is-so-good\" class=\"tumblr_blog\" target=\"_blank\">khaelis<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h1>Why <i>Rosa<\/i> is so good<\/h1>\n<p>Never once you hear \u201cracism is wrong\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>They didn\u2019t fall into that huge trap. <\/p>\n<p>What I mean is, the episode wasn\u2019t overly melodramatic, they didn\u2019t play violins and sad music, they didn\u2019t try to show racism is wrong &#8211; because anyone with a functional brain already knows racism is immensely stupid, people already know it\u2019s wrong.<\/p>\n<p>They didn\u2019t focus on the negativity of racism.<\/p>\n<p>They focused on the sheer positivity of that wonderful and amazing woman.<\/p>\n<p>The end wasn\u2019t, \u201cwhat happened to this woman was horribly wrong\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The end was, \u201cthat woman kicks arses and she was badass enough to make a stand and fight for her rights, and she changed the whole bloody future\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>I loved it. This was the message I wanted to see in this episode. This was the kind of message I want to see in Doctor Who.
