#let me tell you something about this scene okay<\/a>\u00a0#her little pause before she says \u2018and the baby\u2019<\/a>\u00a0#like she\u2019s not sure if she\u2019s going to say it<\/a>\u00a0#but then she figures okay why not say it I\u2019ve got nothing left to lose<\/a>\u00a0#and that little smile on her face when she does<\/a>\u00a0#because for all the heartache she\u2019s feeling right now and has felt since she and the Doctor were separated<\/a>\u00a0#there\u2019s this one thing that will always keep them together<\/a>\u00a0#but then the Doctor says \u2018you\u2019re not\u2026?\u2019<\/a>#it\u2019s this look of sheer terror and sadness on his face<\/a>\u00a0#that is not the face of a man who thinks the woman he loves is pregnant with another man\u2019s child<\/a>\u00a0#he thinks she\u2019s pregnant with his child<\/a>\u00a0#and now she\u2019s trapped in a parallel world where he will never be able to reach her<\/a>\u00a0#but if she\u2019d told him right then and there that she was pregnant with his child he would have torn both universes apart to get to them<\/a>\u00a0#and he can\u2019t do that because he has to protect the universe and stay detached and nothing should cloud his vision<\/a>\u00a0#and Rose knows that because she knows him better than anyone so seeing that look on his face she says \u2018it\u2019s mum\u2019s\u2019<\/a>\u00a0#and then that look of relief on his face is worth the lie<\/a>\u00a0#they only have two minutes and sometimes a lie is kinder than the truth<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
