Capaldi in the Pompeii episode is NOT the Doctor, he\u2019s just a dad trying to protect his family during a disaster. We don\u2019t know what 11 will be like when he regenerates but we know that the life 9 led and Rose had an effect on how 10 was, and 10\u2019s tragic losses resulted in 11, a Doctor who needed to \u00a0be young and a little childish. I think this time the Doctor will realize it\u2019s time to grow up (again), act like an adult, maybe a father. What if when 11 is regenerating part of him remembers this man, this father, he doesn\u2019t force the change, it\u2019s subconscious really. He knows deep down he needs a face that reflects the man he has to be now and in the back of his mind he remembers the face of that father in Pompeii.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>baapi-makwa: Okay this is bugging me.
