Well, anon, all I can tell you is that you don\u2019t know if you don\u2019t try. Don\u2019t try to measure up to anyone else but yourself. Some fics you pour everything into get barely a handful of hits, while others you dash off in an hour might get tons. Also, especially with fanfic, if you\u2019ve got people you trust that are into what you\u2019re writing, don\u2019t be afraid to go \u201chey, I wrote this thing, would you mind taking a look?\u201d Be willing to listen to *constructive* criticism, but don\u2019t let the negative get you down either.<\/p>\n
