It’s not much and it’s probably not that great, but I wrote a supernatural thingy:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is so stupid Dean. I\u2019m not a little kid anymore.\u201d Sam glared up at his big brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cDude, It\u2019s Halloween. Free candy day.\u201d Dean jammed the hat on his little brother\u2019s head. He was wearing last spring\u2019s t-ball uniform from four towns ago. The fact that it still fit wasn\u2019t helping his mood any.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow come you\u2019re not dressing up?\u201d Sam slouched his way out the motel door behind his brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust your chaperone,\u201d grinned Dean. \u201cUnless you want me to grab that clown wig I saw\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Sam visibly shivered. \u201cWhatever. I\u2019m not holding your hand when we cross the street though.\u201d<\/p>\n

There was a neighborhood just a few blocks from the motel. Dean watched kids running up and down the streets with parents or older siblings tagging along behind. Sam might have been ten, but he was still cute enough to score them extra candy at a few houses while Dean lingered behind and smiled at the high school girls. Sam just rolled his eyes and dutifully rang doorbells until they reached a falling down, dark house at the end of the street.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t want to go in there, that\u2019s the Witch\u2019s house,\u201d said one boy as they looked at it.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh yeah?\u201d Dean stood up a little straighter.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah. And last Halloween some girl hung herself in there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cReally.\u201d Dean eyed the house while Sam rolled his eyes again. \u201cThanks. We should probably head home anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n

They headed back to the hotel. Sam shoved the bag of candy at Dean. \u201cI know you want it anyway. Are we really going to investigate a house on Halloween? Without Dad?\u201d<\/p>\n

Dean popped a candy in his mouth. \u201cWhy not? Probably just kids telling stories anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
