It was the year I really rediscovered my love of Doctor Who. I found Sherlock, Torchwood, Supernatural and Superwood. I went to my first con as an adult and cosplayed for the first time. I started this tumblr. I wrote fanfic for the first time in 15 years. I published my first book.<\/p>\n<p>2013 was the year I learned to dream again.<\/p>\n<p>A couple years ago I was ready to give up writing. To put it on a shelf marked \u2018unrealistic\u2019 and \u2018never happen.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Now I have roughly 180,000 words on AO3, and an amount of hits that blows my mind. I have a book you can buy on Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>I want to thank you. Some you have become basically family and you know who you are. And for everyone who has read or said a kind word or liked a fic or a post or reblogged something: you have quite literally changed my life.<\/p>\n<p>I changed my major last week because you\u2019ve given me the confidence to stretch. You\u2019ve helped me believe in myself as a writer.<\/p>\n<p>So thank you. All of you.
