OK on rewatch I am wondering if he\u2019s not talking about not knowing how to diffuse the bomb.\u00a0 I\u2019m thinking he doesn\u2019t know how to navigate his mind palace. John forces him to and he yells he can\u2019t and then he truly looks panicked and John looks disgusted.\u00a0 He searches for a switch\u2026 says \u201cturn that off\u201d and then he does. Then he says \u201cI\u2019m sorry.\u00a0 I can\u2019t, I can\u2019t do it,\u00a0 John. I don\u2019t know how\u201d I think Sherlock had indeed been damaged and I think maybe he thinks that is all he\u2019s got to offer?
\nThis could be prime not talking about what you think he\u2019s talking about Private Life of SH Gatiss version of \u201cAm I being presumptuous?\u00a0 There have been women in your life haven\u2019t there?\u201d \u201cYes\u201d

Clarification: I think this sounds a bit convoluted. What I mean is basically Sherlock\u2019s Mind Palace is damaged.\u00a0 He considers telling John about this problem\u2026 and even starts to during the bomb scene.
