All of them chuckle and laugh at the topic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaying \u2018what?\u2019\u201d Martha offers, handing Rose two cards. \u201cIt\u2019s like he can\u2019t imagine what\u2019s happening to him!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBets in, ladies,\u201d Donna calls. \u201cRambling. I swear he rambles just to see how long before someone cuts him off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s the record?\u201d Rose asks and Donna grins.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI popped to the loo once, never knew I was gone!\u201d They all howl with laughter, the chips on the table falling into each other but no one really cares.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis bow tie,\u201d Amy declares. \u201cHe loves that thing. \u2018Bow ties are cool\u2019,\u201d she mocks, straightening an invisible bow tie as she says it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCall,\u201d Martha says, and they show their cards. Donna won the round and scooped up her winnings before dealing the cards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLicking things,\u201d Rose\u00a0enunciates\u00a0but the other three look at her. \u201cYou\u2019ve\u2026you\u2019ve never seen him licking things?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it\u2019s some weird alien thing you two do in the bedroom, I don\u2019t wanna know,\u201d Donna shivers slightly at the thought but Rose just rolls her eyes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe claims he can analyze things by tasting them. You\u2019ve never seen him do that?\u201d Rose asks, looking around the group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA few times but I wouldn\u2019t call it an \u2018obsession\u2019.\u201d Martha\u00a0diplomatically answers. Rose leans back in her chair deciding to have word with him when they\u2019re done here.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know one of us will eventually have to tell him we used his Sonic as a swizzle stick,\u201d Amy says. They all look at the martini glass with the Sonic sticking out and can\u2019t help the laughter bursting forth. They pick up their cards to begin a new game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe could always tell him it was an experiment,\u201d Martha suggests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat, we were trying to increase the alcohol content?\u201d Donna offers and Martha shrugs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019d probably just be happy we were trying to learn more about science,\u201d Amy retorts, laying down two cards.
