A Bun in the Hand<\/a> –\u00a0John comes home from work and finds Sherlock ready for him.<\/p>\n teaser below the cut<\/p>\n <\/p>\n John came home from a long day at work, looking forward to dinner, tea and maybe some telly, assuming Sherlock didn\u2019t have him running across half of London tonight. As he pushed open the door however, he was surprised to find the detective sound asleep on the couch. Snoring softly, his long ears hanging off the end of the couch, and his tail peeking out from under his shirt.<\/p>\n Smiling, John went to turn the kettle on. He heard Sherlock kick at the sound of it clicking on. Yawning, the taller man wandered into the kitchen, giving John a kiss and stroking one of his floppy ears.<\/p>\n \u201cHave a nice nap?\u201d asked John, bracing himself as he opened the fridge.<\/p>\n Sherlock shrugged and reached past him for a carrot lying next to what was possibly a heart. John didn\u2019t feel like looking too close. \u201cGuess I\u2019ll order takeaway.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMrs. Hudson said she had some extra,\u201d said Sherlock, offering him the other half of the carrot.<\/p>\n John took a bite and handed it back, knowing Sherlock probably hadn\u2019t bothered to eat today. \u201cI\u2019ll go down and get it in a minute.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAren\u2019t you warm in that jumper?\u201d Sherlock tugged at the hem.<\/p>\n John closed the fridge and gave him a knowing look. \u201cSherlock.\u201d<\/p>\n One of Sherlock\u2019s ears twitched as he leaned down. \u201cI\u2019m not wearing any pants.\u201d<\/p>\n
